Punt Road Wines is located in the Yarra Valley on the Napoleone family property in Coldstream, an hour east of Melbourne. Everything we do comes from this one piece of dirt; ideas are born here, all fruit is grown here, and everything we make is crafted, bottled, and shared on site. Winemaker Tim Shand selects fruit from over 150 acres of estate-grown vineyards on our 300 acre farm. We\'ve planted several varieties over the past 27 years to best suit this site including Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Gamay Noir, Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. We only produce wines from our own vineyard in Coldstream, a deliberate, and to us, significant decision. It gives us the opportunity to put all our focus on our one patch of dirt. This gives us a greater understanding of our site along with 13 vintages of cellar memory to draw on and a small team that takes pride in making exciting wines from this solid site which reflects the earthiness and personality of the Yarra Valley. Punt Road Wines are exported to USA, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Peru. In the last 7 years we have also expanded our range to include ciders made on-site under the Napoleone brand with fruit from our own orchards. They are made with fresh fruit, no fruit concentrates and no added sugars or flavours. They are also gluten free. Each year we win awards for our ciders and in 2014 we were judged to have produced the best pear cider in Australia with our Napoleone MT Pear Cider. Naspoleone Ciders are exported to China, Singapore, Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
