La Closerie Wijnimport originated from a great passion for wine and in particular for wine from the south of France. Father Philip Nieuwenhuis has lived in France for twenty-five years and is a great wine lover and collector of wine. He passed on the 'wine virus' to daughter Alexandra. The result is that La Closerie started in November 2003 with the import and sale of Southern French wines. These are always first tasted and selected at the wineries before being included in the assortment. In addition, wine fairs and tastings are regularly visited to keep abreast of all the beauty that the south has to offer! All wines are imported directly from France.
