Wijnhandel Jan van Breda was founded in 1902 by our grandfather and great-grandfather Jan van Breda. With his wife Anna he started "Jan van Breda" in the Korte Hoogstraat, near the then Passage, from where he served the lively pre-war Rotterdam from the heart with "all drinkable treats and the most beautiful cru's of France"
