Located in the heart of the Loire Valley, Origine Wine Co. is an independently owned and operated wholesaler and negociant of Loire wines. This particular region of France disposes of a diverse and unique terroir, allowing for a broad array of grape varieties to grow and a vast range of wines to be produced. Origine Wine Co. endeavours to encompass and embrace this diversity by including all wine styles in our portfolio, with a specific focus on the region's sparkling and rosé wines. Despite being mostly renowned for its Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc, the wine region is actually incredibly diverse, producing still white and red, sparkling, rosé and dessert wines, from a wide range of interesting grape varieties. The famous concept of 'terroir’ is a significant part of french culture, but somehow even more so in the Loire Valley. Vines are planted across two different expanses of rock, the massif amoricain and the bassin parisien, thus allowing winemakers more room to experiment both in the vineyard and in the winery.
