Inspired by the ancestral Wixárika culture, TAU tequila is born, handcrafted, verified as Free of Additives, we are a mixture of culture, quality, elegance and class. The Wixáritari have corn, eagle, deer and peyote as gods, all of them descendants of the Sun "TAU", hence the name of our Tequila brand. The ancestral Wixárika culture present in the north of the State of Jalisco, is a living culture of Mexico and recognized for its color in its costumes and images. The Wixáritari have a presence in the states of Jalisco, Nayarit, Durango and San Luis Potosí, in each of these states they have a ceremonial or religious center, in Jalisco the Isla de los Alacranes in Lake Chapala, La Isla del Rey in San Blas, Nayarit, in the desert of San Luis Potosí Cerro el Quemado and in Durango Cerro Gordo.

With a presence in the north of the State of Jalisco, Mexico, they originate the creation of Tequila TAU, for this community the word TAU means god or sun and we decided to create a tequila that would honor its meaning. We carefully select hearts of Agave Tequilana Weber, a blue variety, ripe to generate the exquisite honeys that, once slowly cooked in masonry ovens, fermented and distilled, are matured in American oak barrels to provide those exquisite flavors that are distinguished by the most demanding palates.

Mexico is a country rich in history, proof of them is the immense amount of customs and cultures that it has. The Huicholes or Wixáricas are a majority group of the State of Nayarit and the northern part of the State of Jalisco, although also in the State of Durango. The traditional decorative designs are full of color, which we observe on their clothes, bags, huaraches and other personal items. The Wixárica culture has four deities: Maize, Eagle, Servant and Peyote, all descend from the sun, called "TAU", this is why we decided to create a product that lives up to its name, with a presentation full of color and history and with a product to the height of the most knowledgeable and experienced palates of Tequila.

Inspired by the Wixárika culture, we created TAU tequila, a 100% agave tequila, Artisan, Free of additives, in its White, Reposado and Añejo classes. We have 750 and 50 ml presentations. In the national market our presentations are at 38 ° Alc. Vol and abroad our presentations are at 40 ° Alc. Vol / 80 proof.
