We are Divergent Drinks. Focused on driving growth in choice to offer better experiences for more people in more places. We aim to create interesting and different drinks that allow our customers to enjoy more varied experiences more of the time. Our long term strategy is to build a portfolio of brands that open up a world of choice and excite and intrigue the senses.

Divergent Drinks was setup in 2016 to realise our first dream – to be the first company to produce a Charmat method sparkling wine in England. The decision to embark on this project was met with no small degree of negativity within the English wine industry due to concerns our new approach would lead to a deterioration in the perception of quality within the sector. Quality is our first and foremost concern and we will never produce a product which does not have at it’s heart a great experience for the consumer.

Fitz Wine

In 2016 we finally decided to make our long‐term dream of making wine into a reality. We had been excited about the English wine industry for a long time and had watched the successes of the many talented individuals and businesses who were putting the quality of English wine firmly on the world map. So we decided to make wine, but what wine should we make, the biggest success story was English sparkling wine which is rivalling and surpassing the most famous of the top French Champagne brands so that seemed a good starting point.

We offer the first sparkling wine to be produced in the UK using Charmat method and the best grapes selected from across England. The wine is fresh and fruity with a well balanced palate and soft acidity. We aim to offer choice to consumers in a growing segment of the market. Our flagship blend is a white sparkling and we intend to extend the range with a rose to be released mid 2019.
