Büyülübağ winery is established on Avşa Island, Marmara Sea, Turkey. The island, with a history of viticulture and wine making since 1800’s , has a unique micro climate and sandy and sandy-loam soil. Our vision is to grace the island’s indigenous grape variety ‘Adakarası’ with international awareness and to exploit the potential of the well-adapted international grape varieties in the Avşa Island’s terroir. Being the only example of its kind in Turkey with Gravity Flow Technic, our multilevel winery situated on the slopes of the island, designed and equipped to use the gravity most effectively. Bordeaux style wine making techniques are used under the supervision of Turkish and French oenologists. Today Büyülübağ Winery and Vineyards produce stylish, elegant and rich wines that already won several medals at national and international wine competitons.
