Valduero was founded by the Garcia Viadero family in 1984 and is one of Spain's top producers of fine wines. It was among the first wineries to join the D.O. Ribera del Duero after its creation in 1982 and our winemaker,Yolanda Garcia Viadero, was one of Spain's first female winemakers. All our wines have been rated over 90 points by Robert Parker's Wine Advocate and our Gran Reserva 2001 has a 95 point rating, one of the highest for any wine from Spain. Our vineyard is family owned and 100% Tinta Fina (Tempranillo). It includes some of the oldest vines in the region.
