Bodegas Monterebroâ„¢
Category: Winery
Country: Spain
Date:09/03/2013
The Monterebroâ„¢ wines are produced from the highest vineyards in Jumilla, by a multinational group of partners, most significantly acclaimed oenologist Juan Miguel BenÃtez. The roots date back to 1870, when the first bodega in the region was established. Today the vineyards cover a total area of 140 hectares, and are located at an average altitude of 750 metres above sea level (2,500 feet). The soil is sandy, chalky and rocky on the surface. Despite proximity to the Mediterranean sea, climatic conditions are continental and extreme. The wines are aromatic and elegant: Monterebro Joven, Monterebro Blanco, Monterebro Rosado, Monterebro Barrica, Monterebro Crianza, and Monterebro Selección.
