Hi, I'm Roberto Polidoro. I am a wine broker. I offer real wines from real wineries all over Italy, I am committed to constantly bringing a level of service, professionalism and awareness necessary to match the high quality of the selections. As a Sommelier of some of the best estates in Italy, France and Spain, I have personal relationships with the farmers and winemakers who dedicate their lives to this extraordinary craft. I consider myself elegant and refined and as an elegant individual, I love food and wine and have a real passion and respect for the people and places that make this combination possible. I love what I do without being able to imagine doing anything else. What makes me different? I choose the wines I fall in love with, from wineries that share my commitment to quality and genuineness. I spend many weeks traveling around Italy, but also in Europe procuring excellent selections, discovered along the wine route in the Old World. My time is dedicated to researching native wineries, deepening friendships with growers, deeply understanding their methods and absorbing local culture and traditions. My wineries are exclusively small family-run, grower-oriented farms, often from many generations of winemakers. I love the incredible variety of grape varieties that I find in European appellations, off the beaten track and I do everything I can to find them. Balance, integrity, harmony, components of a cycle that tells its origin. It has a fantastic team of incredibly smart and strong people across all critical business functions: selection, logistics, sales, fulfillment, back of the house. For this we are enormously flexible and in contact with our interlocutors.
