As a truly independent merchant the company holds no agencies and is therefore able to buy the best wines in the best vintages. The company regularly buys wine direct from the Producers and imports wine direct from all over the world. The wine list has tremendous depth, selling everyday drinking wines, Champagne and port, to the specialisation of Burgundy and Bordeaux En Primeur wine. Employing over 18 members of staff, the business is family run and now based at state of the art premises based just outside Melsonby, minutes from the A1 at Scotch Corner, North Yorkshire.
