The Searson name is well known in the pub and wine trade in Ireland, largely due to the successful Searsons public houses throughout south Dublin. Over time we developed a love of wine. In the 1930s Searson's licensed premises at Portobello was a well-known source of an estate and Dublin bottled wines from Bordeaux and Burgundy.

Searson’s passion and expertise in this area led the company to build an extraordinary portfolio of wines from the world’s leading producers. Gradually, the wine side of the business grew to a self-sustaining level. In 1977 we opened new premises in Monkstown, which is where you will find Searsons wine shop today.
