Sautee Hard Cider Company, located in Cleveland, Georgia, started producing ciders for distribution in July 2015. The company’s founder and CEO, Joseph Cerniglia, is not new to the cider business. Mr. Cerniglia founded Woodchuck Cider in 1991 in Proctorsville, Vermont. In 1998 Woodchuck Cider was sold to H.P. Bulmer of England. Mr. Cerniglia, with his passion for cider and understanding of the business, decided to start Sautee Hard Cider Company with anticipation of taking cider to a new level.
