Description
Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 - Our Cabernet Sauvignon is part of the grape variety range from Acaibo Estate. Our vineyard has been using organic and regenerative practices for the past 10 years. We are located in Sonoma County, where the unique volcanic ash and clay soils enhance our grapes. Our grapes are handpicked, and the wine is aged for 12 months in premium Bordeaux-style French oak barrels, with 30% of the barrels being new and sourced from the finest forests of central France.
" A full-bodied palate features ripe dark fruits like cherry and cassis, complemented by berry notes. As it evolves, hints of vanilla, cinnamon, and oak emerge in the mid-palate, followed by savory undertones of tobacco, leather, and cedar.» Nicolas Vonderheyden, technical director and winemaker

About this company
Claire and Gonzague, owners of Bordeaux Grands Crus Classés, have been nurturing Acaibo since 2012. Nestled in the picturesque Chalk Hill region of Sonoma, our 10-hectare vineyard enjoys an ideal climate for cultivating exquisite Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. At Acaibo, we pride ourselves on the perfect balance and unique aromatic profile that reflect the essence of Californian terroir. Committed to sustainability, we employ organic and regenerative farming practices, ensuring that our land thrives for generations to come. The culmination of our dedication and innovative approach is a wine that stands proudly among the finest American cuvées. Our 2018 vintage earned an impressive 96/100 from renowned critic James Suckling, who praised its "very fine tannins and fresh, crisp, bright finish."
