WINEMAKING - This crisp Chardonnay was harvested from the Chalone AVA in Monterey County’s moderate coastal climate. The grapes were handpicked in the cool of the morning to maintain acidity. Fermented with a touch of new French oak (5%), this wine shows the true nature of the classic Chardonnay grape. Aged for seven months before bottling.
TASTING NOTES - Lush Chardonnay fermented with a touch of new French oak shows off the true nature of this classic varietal. Honeysuckle, pear, and melon are followed by tropical notes, balanced with a rich mid-palate and a refreshing finish of toasted almond that will last for innings.
