WINEMAKING - This Cabernet Sauvignon was hand harvested from 4 premium vineyards in the renowned Paso Robles appellation. These grapes were fermented on their skins for 14 days and pumped over 2 to 3 times a day before being transferred to barrel. Aged for 18 months with a combination of European and American oak (40% new oak).
TASTING NOTES - Balanced with well-integrated tannins, this full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon exudes classic black currant fragrance with dark chocolate, raspberry and cedar. The rich mouthfeel is fruit driven with toasty oak, cassis and hints of boysenberry with a finish so long it will take you into extra innings.
