Description

Vineyards : The vineyard is situated very close to the winery. A single vineyard with royat cord whose pruning, irrigation, treatment and health protection are conducted with the utmost attention to obtain an optimal and balanced production of grapes that reach the best quality.

Age of the vineyard: 15 years old.

Soils: Texture free, loamy, poor in nutrients, with a basic pH and a content of organic matter lower than 1%. Climate: Mediterranean climate with a strong continental influence, which makes it particularly suitable for the correct ripening of the grapes, since after a dry and hot summer, the ripening process finishes when the weather is still dry and there are large day to night temperature variations, which provide for an optimal ripening and a greater concentration of fruit and aromas.

Grape harvest: First week of September. Harvested during the night and immediate-ly taken to the winery in order to avoid fermentation. This way, the grapes remain in perfect health and a correct fruit extraction takes place.

Yield: 6500 kg / hectare.

Colour: Pale yellow with new gold reflections and green rim in the glass.
