The Origin of Taste
Aroma: Fruity and mineral and slightly toasty.
Taste: Fresh and fruity, nutty-flavoured and a lasting taste in the end.
Grape Varieties: Arinto (60%) + Bical (40%)
Winemaking: Fermentation in French oak barrels.
Stage: 4 months in barrels + 6 months in stainless steel.
Number of Bottles: 5,000 bottles of 0.75l
Alcohol Content: 13% GL

About this company

The company is responsible for the vertical management of two cellars in the region of Bairrada: “Adega Original” and “Adega Quatro Cravos”. The vines of the varieties Maria-Gomes, Arinto and Bical are planted in different types of soils, including loamy soils, brown, calcareous soils consisting of marl and incipient and sandy soils in the Atlantic shore of the region of Bairrada. The wines are made into wine by the company using grapes produced in the properties of its cellars and also those acquired from the region’s certified producers. The characteristics of the soils in the regions where the cellars are located originate differentiated wines, with balance and sophistication in the interior and with lightness and vigour in the zones of the coastline. The brands are presented in the market with the seal "By PositiveWine" as a commitment to quality assurance and to assume the company’s institutional responsibility in relation to its products.
