Description
Tasting
The colour is garnet red colour with mahogany reflections. The nose brings out prune and
black olive notes. The mouth is harmonious and delicate with cocoa and spices.
“Terroir”
The “Garrigots”, “Belvèze” and “Cazelles” plateaux.
Depending on the varietal, these three plots are made of good drained pebbly ground, metamorphic
stones from glacial deposit of the Montagne Noire, slightly acid, gravely clay schist and typical frostshattered
limestone.
Vinification
Selected grapes issued from our best plots cultivated using the method of the « lutte
raisonnée ». Harvested grapes macerate for 15 to 20 days in vats. 12 month maturation in
one and two-wine oak barrels.
Varietals: Mourvèdre, Syrah, Grenache.
Alcohol content: 14,5 %
Yield: 30 hl/hectare.
