Description
PALMA SPICED GIN is a twist on the original Palma gin recipe. Containing the same unique and diverse local botanicals, which includes Almond Flowers foraged once a year in Spring, the only Gin in the World to contain this Floral botanical. Mallorcan Juniper, again also foraged once a year at the end of Autumn along with lavander, tomato branches, orange leaves and fresh citrus fruits.
Once distilled, the gin is aged in Mallorcan oak barrels and our spiced botanicals, consisting of Vanilla, Cinnamon and Cloves, are added in stages during this time, bringing a complex sweetness and spice to the gin.
The result is a complex and full flavoured gin that pushes the boundaries of tradition. Great in cocktails, especially rum based coctails, highly recommended with ginger beer, and in colder months as a hot spiced gin punch.
BRANDING: The iconic branding of the bottles comes from traditional Mallorcan tiles known as ‘suelo hidraulico’. Inspiration was taken from a local family run company, who have been hand-making tiles on the island for over 80 years. Taking over 10 months to complete the intricate bottle design, the team decided on a specialised process to ink print organic paints straight onto the glass, resulting in a eco-friendly and recyclable product.
The company logo also humbly acknowledges the heritage of our magical city, taking inspiration from the West facing rose window in the enchanting La Seu Cathedral.
