Misty Cove

Wines from New Zealand looking for distributors worldwide

OUR STORY

Misty Cove was founded by Andrew Bailey, an eccentric, hard case, Southerner, who much like his wine, has matured into a man who loves life, great times, and most of all viticulture. Spending his summers growing up in Marlborough has fostered a passion for the Misty Coves of the Marlborough sounds. So much so, that he calls this wondrous world home for both himself and his winery.

Misty Cove doesn’t get overly caught up in the ‘faint hint of autumn leaves’ and ‘delicate plum overtures’ or even ‘crisp winter grasses”. We prefer to focus on producing great wine that for optimum enjoyment should be shared with a group of likeminded mates.

Don’t worry; we do autumn leaves and plums too. We simply prefer to let the awards we win, speak about our pedigree for us. This allows us to concentrate on producing top wines for any occasion and to have a drink with the great people who enjoy Misty Cove. Leaving the pretense for those tedious types who spoil your night with pompous pontification. Whatever that is.

OUR WINES

Misty Cove wines draw from the unique environmental elements that our New Zealand wine regions have to offer. The unique combination of our soils and climatic conditions fuse together to produce lush, aromatic white wines and intensely flavoured red wines.

We have fused old world wine making values and techniques with modern technology that allows us to produce wines that have incredible body, character and charm.
