6/10/2019 – At the 2019 Bartender Spirits Awards, which took place in San Francisco on May 19, Doc Brown Really Bad Rum won 3 awards. His Dark rum and Silver rum both were awarded Silver medals and his Spiced rum received a Bronze medal, which is the ultimate seal of approval in the global spirits industry. In order to receive this distinction, Doc Brown Really Bad Rum needed to score highly in all aspects of judging: Mixability, Balance and Versatility, Taste, Mouthfeel and Finish, Package & Price.
