Dewar’s launches Chinese New Year Gift Tin

To celebrate Chinese New Year, Bacardi Travel Retail has unveiled a limited edition gift tin for its Dewar’s blended Scotch whisky brand.

The travel retail-exclusive tin containing Dewar’s 18 Year Old will be on sale in stores across the Asia Pacific region and at Dubai Airport.

Released to help welcome the Year of the Pig on 5 February, the red gift tin contains a one-liter bottle of Dewar’s whisky and features embossed gold detailing.
Double-aged in oak casks and bottled at 40% abv, the Dewar’s 18-year-old blend is described as “creamy, full and well-rounded” with a “hint of marzipan and a silky finish”.

The one-liter presentation box carries a recommended retail price of US$99 and will be available in 15 airports across the Asia Pacific region, including Auckland, Beijing, and Kuala Lumpur.

The release of the Dewar’s Chinese New Year gift tin follows the blended Scotch whisky brand’s Diwali-themed presentation box, which was launched to celebrate the Hindu festival of lights.
