Since 2010 Simone Jordan runs the family winery in the fourth generation, she is actively supported by her partner and her parents. To be winemakers, for the family means to capture the fascination of nature to be sensitive with it and bring the best quality of grapes into the cellar. The Motto of the winery is “Outstanding wines are made in the vineyard and not in the cellar” The region around Pulkau fascinated with soils from granite to fine-grained loess soils at the foothills of the Manhartsberg. These conditions are the source for red wine affinity of the wine estate. Overall, we make wine from about 12 hectares, the vineyards are divided half in red and white. Our two main grape varieties are Zweigelt and Grüner Veltliner. The white wines are aged exclusively in stainless steel tanks and and the red wines according to variety and vineyard in large or small oak barrels.
