Grenache is bursting with bright red, fruity flavors and is balanced with subtle spices. With Aromas of cranberry and bay leaf, on the palate, notes of raspberry pie, orange peel, allspice, cloves and sweet tobacco. It is often described as having the complexity of pinot noir, but the richness and volume of shiraz.
Grenache pairs well with Asian cuisine, roasted meats and vegetables.
