Description
Paso-Primero Tinto is a blended wine from Somontano in northern Spain. In keeping with wines from this region Paso-Primero Tinto has a bright, ruby red colour with ripe red fruit aromas underpinned by deeper, tertiary characteristics on the palate.
The Merlot component softens the wine with supple tannins balancing the power of the Cabernet-Sauvignon. There is a backbone of acidity from early-harvest Tempranillo to give the wine length and lift the more robust characteristics of the other varietals.

Originally from Shrewsbury in Shropshire they travelled the world learning how to craft fruit driven, easy going wines. After working for some of the wine industry’s most influential producers they are now putting that knowledge to the test and making a growing portfolio of wines under their own labels and in their own style.
