Description
Colour: Powerful cherry-red colour with purple reflections. Very intense and deep, pronounced touch of purple, almost bluish, thinly layered, clean and bright.
Nose: Intense and complex, highly concentrated, powerful and deep. Mature notes of black berries, blueberries or cranberries, accompanied by coffee, licorice, toffee and a balsamic, chocolaty base.
Palate: Broad, structured, intense, full-bodied, oily, sweet. High fruit-bearing concentration, black plums in liqueur, sweet notes of fruit jam, chocolate, licorice. Creamy, enveloping sensation with long, persistent balsamic finish.
- Grape Variety: 100 % Tinto Fino (Tempranillo).
- Process: Heat-controlled maceration at 25 -30ºC.
- Ageing: 14 months in light grain American oak (60 %) and Hungarian oak (40 %). Decanted every 6 months.
- Stocked on bottle rack: up to 6 months or until optimum.
- Serving temperature: 18ºC.
- Ideal to accompany meat, pasta, cheese, etc.
