At the Schmitz family\'s estate on the northern fringe of Stellenbosch appointed Cellar master Anton Bothma first wine are finding their way into bottle, their styling partly influenced by the weaker rand and the resultant need to use less new oak. Serendipitous, the more fruit-driven style works well in Hoopenburg\'s newer markets.
