Description
For this wine, the grapes were harvested by hand at the end of September - beginning of October 2018. Sorted grain by grain, the varieties Feteasca Neagra and Syrah were vinified together, matured for 12 months in new Romanian barrels. The Merlot variety was vinified individually, and it matured for 12 months in new Romanian oak barrels. The mixture was made in November 2019, before bottling.
- Tasting Notes: Ruby red. On the nose, notes of vanilla and red fruit. A dry red wine, with a medium body, young tannins, fruity, easy to drink.

About this company
A young plantation re-established in a place with a tradition of over 200 years and with ideal conditions for viticulture. An old winery rebuilt and equipped with the latest technology.
An almost disappeared 300 years old tradition was reborn over a 10 years period with graft and passion. 30 adjoining hectare property in the South West of Romania near Craiova with vines being typically around 10 years old. 7 varieties - three local and four international. With a South-facing position, sandy limestone soil and the micro climate, the wines produced tend to be rich and full-bodied. Last generation technology used to produce around 70.000 bottles a year. Important awards received such as Gold medal from the top wine local contest or Gault & Millau "best Romanian red blend". Exports on a small scale are made to Belgium, Germany and China and domestic demand comes online and via the top Horeca outlets in Bucharest.
