Description

D.O.C. Controlled - Denomination of Origin

Each bottle is unique. Truly unique. Each bottle is certified and identified by a numbered seal of guarantee to assure the quality of all methods and processes, issued by the Commission of The Vinho Verde Region.

Lighter than most and especially aromatic, Vinho Verde has a refreshing finish provided by a balanced blend of indigenous varieties, varying according to its color and characteristics.

Destalo White Vinho Verde - Fresh, light and fizzy.

Young, fresh and mineral wine, with nuances of green apple and lemon, with a citric finish.

Hybrid in its habitat, among valleys, rivers and mountains of the region's microclimate, The Cool Otter embodies the surrounding nature that provides wines with a lightness, freshness and unique palate.

Light colored, fizzy young wine with strong fruity developments, strikingly green apple and lemon hints. Fresh and refreshing with a lively, acidic finish.

  • Designation of origin: Vinho Verde
  • Wine type: White
  • Grapes: Azal Branco, Arinto, Loureiro and Trajadura
  • Alcohol percentage: 11.5%

  • Total dry extract: 30.3 g/L
  • Residual sugar: < 3 g/L
  • Serving suggestion: Serve between 8ºC to 12º C (46.4° a 53.6°F).

Destalo Vinho Verde Rosé - Classy, fancy and bold.

With a delicate body and soft palate, Vinho Verde Rosé is a tenuously sweet wine with a floral nose and shades of red fruits.

The gracefulness of its movements comes close to the lightness, freshness and delicacy of Vinho Verde Rosé, a citrus and sweet experience, slightly carbonated in body and soft palate.

Slightly fizzy wine with cherry colorful notes and a refreshing red berries flavor, possessing a mild sweetness as well as an acidic, engaging finish.

  • Designation of origin: Vinho Verde
  • Wine type: Rose
  • Grapes: Espadeiro & Vinhao
  • Alcohol percentage: 11.5%
  • Acidity: Total acidity 5 g/L, Volatile acidity 0.36 g/L

Destalo Red Vinho Verde - A complex experience.

Made with a strong body, dark tonality, and bold and carbonated texture, the Red is a higher alcoholic wine with a taste of wild fruits and nuances of citrus fruits.

A conservative, classical snob – a graceful attitude with an outstanding, gentle yet stout palate, it only tastes the boldest, robust boozy flavors.

Vibrant, acidic and notably sharp, Vinho Verde Red is a youthful, complex experience with a dark, tainted ruby color and a strong yet tasteful resemblance to wild berries.

  • Designation of origin: Vinho Verde

  • Alcohol percentage: 11.5%

About this company

Young, fresh and fizzy Vinho Verde wines. We passionately want to share the best our region has to offer: an exclusively produced young wine you really can't find elsewhere. Our wines are available worldwide. Amidst the Douro and the Tâmega river, with such peculiar terroir and a specific microclimate, these wines develop their freshness, their lightness and the exuberant vibrant and limpid color of their whites, reds and rosés.

With centuries of experience in winemaking and viticulture, brought from its people, its techniques and its endogenous grape varieties, is in the Northwest of Portugal where the Vinho Verde Demarcated Region is located – and made from a mixture of native grapes, Vinho Verde is a piece of history in a glass. The oldest known historical references of the Region come from the Roman Empire, in the 1st century BC. These Vinho Verde wines are from Amarante. Proudly made and produced in the city amidst the Tâmega river and the Marão sierra. Amarante tells the story of a city markedly Romanesque with breathtaking naturalistic landscapes, bathed by the Tâmega river and the superb views of the sierras that surround it.
