Description
Bright floral notes and orange blossom dominate on first breath. Hints of cinnamon toast, brioche and lemon meringue pie develop on the nose as the wine opens up with some air. The front palate is fresh with a soft, supple attack on the cheeks and a racing, spicy mid-palate melting into a chalky, tangy finish screaming for bold food pairings.
This fruit was grown on a vineyard situated just off of Maraekakaho Road in the heart of the Bridge Pa Wine Growing District of Hawke’s Bay. The vineyard is in transition to organic, no weed sprays were used and stress irrigation was trialed resulting in very intense fruit.

About this company
Decibel, Testify and Giunta Wines are my vision to create wines using classic practices, minimal intervention, and wines with a community-based attitude. These are ideas as old as wine itself and I believe strongly in them. However, I look to the future as well. I have now had the privilege to work with some of these growers for years and can support their efforts to convert to organics. And as the lineup grows it is with great care to continue to find organic producers to work with. I look at a time when we use smart practices in the vineyard and the winery that not only inspires but preserve our great planet. I've had a great deal of help from many other winemakers, growers, and friends in Hawke's Bay, Martinborough, and back home in the USA as well.
