Description
The 'Growers Touch' wines pay homage to the growers that day in day out, care for the vines and grapes. Each farmer responsible for the grapes features both on the front and back of the wine, in order to share with you the faces and hands gone into making these stunning wines.
A complex mix of mulberry, dark cherry and blackberry notes makes this wine rich and powerful. It is complemented by hints of coconut, vanillin and smooth fine grain tannins. Pairs well with eye fillet, slow cooked lamb or barbeque beef. This wine will reward the patience of cellaring up to 7 years, also made to enjoy now.
AWARDS: 93 Pts & 5 Stars - Wine Orbit
“Sweetly fruited and inviting, the bouquet shows dark plum, cake spice, cedar and dried flower aromas, leading to a flavoursome palate offering supple texture and fine tannins. Beautifully smooth and rounded with a lengthy succulent finish. At its best: now to 2028.” - Wine Orbit.

About this company
At Snapper Rock we source fruit from two of New Zealand's most famous wine producing areas, Marlborough, at the top of the South Island and the Hawkes Bay, on the east coast of the North Island. Hawkes Bay’s alluvial plains, high sunshine hours and long ripening season create the ideal terroir for full bodied reds and it’s become a magnet for wine tourism. Marlborough’s rolling valleys carved by ancient riverbeds and bright, long summer days with cool nights are ideal for the production of crisp, zesty whites and suave cool climate reds. Sauvignon Blanc propelled Marlborough onto the international stage and has ensured rapid growth over the last twenty years. We’re one of a small bevy of boutique producers tending special blocks within the valleys, always looking to unleash Marlborough’s potential, and crafting wines of the land, pure, taut and focused.
