Description

Vernaculum is produced from an indigenous clone of Aleatico grape, called Vernaccia Rossa di Pergola, existing in the territory from the far 1234, the year of Pergola founding by the Gubbio City government. This unique grape variety is very popular around the council of Pergola and from centuries characterize the typical terroir of this area. The wine has a ruby red color with purple hues, the aromas are very intense, with notes of cherry, pomegranate and red berries; the palate is dry, fresh, harmonic and characteristic.
