Description
- Varieties: 100% pops
- Cultivation area: on the hills in the municipality of Prepotto.
- Harvest: by hand in boxes, made in several stages in the first ten days of October.
- Vinification: the must remains in contact with the skins for about 18 days at a controlled temperature.
- Refinement: the wine is divided into three equal parts and each is aged differently (cement, amphora, wood) for about 10 months.
- Organoleptic characteristics: ruby red colour with violet hues. The nose is intense and spicy, with a scent of cherry, blueberry and raspberry. In the mouth it is complex, fresh and elegant. A very harmonious wine.
- Suggestions and combinations: serve at 16-18°C. Being a fresh wine, it is perfect with second courses of meat even with a soft taste. It can also be served with mature cheeses and cold cuts, as it enhances the salty taste.

The approximately 8 hectares of land are all in the municipality of Prepotto, a historic village nestled between the Julian Prealps Natural Park and the Upper Adriatic Riviera, is an important wine-growing area and is part of the designation Friuli Colli Orientali DOC.
The company is a historical reality of the territory that produces wine for over 50 years. "Cleanliness and balance with respect for nature: sustainability, not only environmental, is the mantra that guides us every day. High quality wines are produced, which can be tasted after long aging in cement, amphorae or barriques. The enhancement of native vines is our goal, in particular: Little snap of Prepotto Ribolla Gialla Friuliano Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso.
