Blend of: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Refosco from Veneto region.
Tasting notes
Intense ruby red color with purplish-blue glints. The bouquet is
generous, with pleasant notes of vibrant red berries, cherry,
blueberry and plum. On the palate this wine shows its big
personality. Harmonious, warm, round and well-balanced
blend with elegant tannins, great texture and long-lasting
smooth finish.
Food pairing
Excellent with red meat in general. Try it with veal, lamb and
braised or barbequed red meats like steak, sausage and game. It
goes well with aged cheeses like Parmigiano-Reggiano, too. Good
with porcini mushroom risotto but also as a meditation wine
Vinification
After the manual late harvest, which takes place at different
times for three varietals, the grapes are left to dry in straw
racks. As soon as the desired level of colour and sugar
concentration is reached, traditional red vinification is carried
out at a controlled temperature. After the vinification, the wine
ages for about 3-4 months in wooden barrels
