DESCRIPTION:
Dark red wine with an intense aroma of blackberry and plum. In the mouth it is warm, velvety and balanced. Excellent in combination with tasty first courses, roasts and cheeses.
Grapes: Negroamaro (80%), Malvasia Nera di Lecce (20%)
Harvest: Manual harvest at the end of September
Vines training: Spurred cordon with 5,000 vines per hectare
Yield of grapes per hectare: 80 quintals
Average age of the vines: 30 years
Vinification: Fermentation in maceration of the destemmed grapes for about 10 days at a temperature of 22 - 24 ° C. The racking is followed by a period of aging in oak barrels (30 hl) for 2 months.
