About this company
Le Jardin d’Edouard has been producing wine for more than 100 years. Edouard Massart, a former Manager in the automotive industry, continues this long tradition with passion. We grow 5 grape varieties on 16ha: Melon de Bourgogne (Muscadet), Folle Blanche, Gamay, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon (Loire Valley Reds and Rosés). Located in the South of Nantes, close to the Loire river: our terroir is mainly granite-based spread over 5 areas. 900 hL of wine is produced yearly, giving us a potential of more than 100,000 bottle per year. Know how: We produce 100% of our wines in house (from vineyard to bottle). Le Jardin d’Edouard is well known for its fine wines and special old vine Muscadets. We combine both traditional techniques and modern methods to ensure the highest quality. Expertly using the «on lees» maturing method to give unique style to our Muscadets, creating the perfect balance of freshness, fruitiness and minerality. With the Chateau-Thebaud maturing up to 75 months!
