About this company

We are Vignobles Meynard, a family-owned vineyard situated on the right bank of the Bordeaux area in France. We are dedicated to producing exceptional wines and are excited to introduce our offerings to the Danish market. At Vignobles Meynard, we cultivate 45 hectares of vines across three appellations, producing six distinct wines: Saint-Émilion Grand Cru : Our Château Étoile de Clotte is crafted from 3.5 hectares of old vines. This wine has received multiple gold medals, a 93-point rating from James Suckling, and accolades from Andreas Larsson. Consistently awarded 2 stars and "coup de coeur" in the Guide Hachette, it has earned a 4.1 rating on Vivino from over 1200 users. Castillon-Côtes-de-Bordeaux : Château Roque le Mayne and Château la Bourrée are our two distinguished red wines from this 25-hectare vineyard. These wines have garnered high praise and several gold medals, including a 95-point rating from Decanter. Both wines are regularly honored with 2 stars and "coup de coeur" by the Guide Hachette des Vins, with Château Roque le Mayne rated 3.9 on Vivino by over 2000 reviewers, ranking it among the top 5% globally. Appellation Bordeaux Contrôlée : Our Château Platon produces three wines (red, rosé, and red) from 11 hectares of family-owned vines, passed down since 1907. These wines have been well-received in numerous competitions and are cherished by consumers in France and abroad. Beyond our dedication to producing high-quality wines, we are committed to sustainability. We have achieved HVE (High Environmental Value) Level 5 Certification and are in the final year of transitioning to organic farming. Currently, we export to major markets including the US, Japan, Switzerland, Germany, and China. For more detailed information, please view our brochure online and visit our website.
