Pure, direct and balanced: Our Bouzy Grand Cru Brut Nature is produced from only two consecutive harvests, from our family’s vineyards, without added sugar. It is the purest expression of our Bouzy terroir.

Origin: BOUZY 100% Grand Cru “Dual Vintage” Harvests 2015 and 2016
Grape varieties: 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay.
Vineyard: Naturopathic vine care. No weed killers. Natural fertilizers.
Officially working toward Organic certification, some biodynamic principles also applied.
- Natural treatments such as Nettle, Willow bark and Horsetail are favoured
- Naturally occurring Chalk and rich "Black Soil," on Delavenne's on south-facing vineyards provide the optimal growing conditions for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
- Natural undergrowth between the vines is encouraged, allowing Nature do her work, creating a healthy symbiosis between plant life. Careful soil work gently guides growth in the Spring, bringing the rich nutrients and mineral salts down to the vine roots.
- Following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, tasting the grapes determines the harvest date, not an instrument. Manual harvest.
Terroir: Montagne de Reims. Sun-soaked chalk soils and hillsides, bordered by forest and caressed by cool evening winds providing natural thermal regulation for optimal growing conditions.
Vinification:
- Native, wild yeasts in Stainless steel tanks.
- No malolactic fermentation, no cold flash pasteurisation, no fining, only patient winemaking, preserving the purity of the Bouzy terroir with length on the palate, full flavours and aromas.
- Over 4 years on the lees.
- All natural, vegan-friendly

About this company
For 4 generations we have been producing Grand Cru Champagnes and Bouzy Rouge from our own vineyards. Our champagne is the reflection of the terroir it comes from and of the love of the men who patiently created it. We are aware of environmental issues and wish to preserve the quality of our land which will be handed down to our children. This is why we opted for integrated agriculture, taking it further whenever possible, treating the protection of the environment with the utmost respect. Our objective is to produce high quality Champagnes that will win your heart year after year.
Our cuvées are currently marketed to the on-premise trade: Michelin-Star restaurants, hotels and boutique wine shops. We have vineyards in Bouzy, Ambonnay and Cramant. With 9 hectares of vines, we produce approximately 65,000 bottles of Grand Cru Champagne per year. Our house style is concentrated on purity and singularity: Even our non-vintage champagnes are created from a blend of wines from only 2 consecutive harvest years, in essence, "Dual-Vintage" Mono-cru and hand-riddled for the majority of our champagnes: We do not use either oak barrels or malolactic fermentation. No fining, no artificially controlled temperatures. Low sulfites. We are currently working toward our organic certification and use some biodynamic principles in the vineyard as well. No chemical fertilizer, no weed-killer.
