Description
Colour: Dark ruby red with violet hues.
Aroma: Aromas of blackberry, dark fruits with subtle hints of black pepper and aromatic spices. Palate: A balanced wine of black cherry,raspberry flavours complemented by subtle fine tannins and toasty mocha oak providing a palate that lingers.
Our shiraz was harvested in early March and was fermented on skins for a period of 5-6 days to allow
for full colour and tannin extraction. Themust was then pressed off and racked intopremium American oak to add richness and complexity during maturation.
Once maturation was completed after approximately 9 mont hs, selected parcels of Shiraz were blended together to form this wine and a small amount of fining was doneto balance this wine before bottling.
