VINTAGE CHARACTERISTICS A season during which the maximum temperatures were higher than historic levels for the region, encouraging the grapes phonological development. In general, it was an excellent year boasting the following points: High temperature variation, perfect health of the grapes, yields in line with what was predicted and hoped for, and a delayed –but finally complete– phenolic ripening.
PRODUCTION Maceration: cold pre fermentation, 5 days at 9°C. Alcoholic Fermentation: 10 days at 26-27°C Post fermentative maceration:

AGING 80% of the wine in French and American oak barrels of first and second use during 10 months.
TASTING NOTES  Deep red color with violet hues. Aroma of ripe fruit with elegant floral contribution (violet) and species, balsamic and complex notes. Aging in oak has achieved in this wine an exquisite combination, black and red fruit prevail in equilibrium with notes of vanilla, mocha,  cloves. The mouth entry is sweet, good weight in the
