Founded by the Sran brothers after being inspired by their father's history of making spirits in his native India, Daru Whiskey is the flagship product of Sran Spirits. Daru is a premium, Indian-inspired whiskey with a 100% Canadian corn blend; unlike most Canadian whiskies that have a high-rye content causing them to be spicy, Daru's corn base gives it a uniquely sweet and fruity taste. Aged for a minimum of three years in rare Canadian oak barrels, giving it touches of vanilla throughout. Additionally, Daru also undergoes filtration through activated charcoal, creating a remarkably smooth palate on the finish.

Daru is priced competiviely and is one of the quickest-growing independent spirit brands in California, with plans to expand not only to other states in the U.S., but also internationally to other countries

Aged for a minimum of three years in rare Canadian oak barrels, Daru is made with 100% Canadian corn. Unlike most Canadian whiskies on the market that contain a high-rye content, Daru being 100% corn-based gives it a uniquely sweet and fruity taste, in contrast to the spicier taste consumers are used to when it comes to Canadian whisky. The rare Canadian oak barrels in which it is aged also gives it delicate hints of vanilla throughout, adding to the uniqueness of the flavor. Daru goes an additional step and is filtered through activated charcoal, removing impurities from the whisky and giving it a remarkably smooth palate and finish.

Since it's launch in the summer of 2020, Dqru has grown into one of the hottest selling whiskies in Southern California. Daru aims to expand through various markets not only in the U.S., but also internationally in select target markets.
