G.H.Q. Vodka is all about the thrill of relaxation. It’s shaking out your pin curls at the end of a hard day. It’s loosening your old school tie and hanging up your trench coat. Now is not the time to worry about the battles ahead, it’s time for vodka your way.
Multi award winning small batch premium craft Vodka. Distilled at the Lost Loch Distillery, Aboyne, Scotland using a 500 litre iStill. The spirit is distilled with locally sourced Royal Deeside honey and hazelnuts and then mixed with some of the purest water in the world. The water source lies within the Cairngorms National Park, a protected area of outstanding beauty. The water spends around 50 years underground, filtering through layers of underground rock. The water emerges naturally under its own pressure at the artesian springs. It is sustainable as part of the local water cycle. This brings a purity to the finished product to create a bold nose with clean small grains and a touch of maltiness. There is some soft vanilla and cocoa powder too. Creamy with a positive butter note and some minerality and herbal elements on the finish. There is a refreshing cooling sensation turning into a nice comforting warmth at the end.

It is dry with some fine floral notes, particularly dried flowers, and herbs. It is very bold with a nice composition of flavours playing along a creamy palate.
