The base of our spirit is Swedish organic rye. We use rye because, for us, it makes the spirit smoother, more complex and broad in avor and simply more enjoyable to drink.

Our spirit is only distilled once. We don’t redistill heads and tails just to make an extra buck simply because the result wouldn’t be as good. Instead we are very picky when separating the body from the rest, resulting in the smoothest vodka you can get without destroying the avor. The old marketing ”truth” about three times distilled and such would of course be easy to use. When tasting our vodka, you’ll probably get another perspective on multiple distillations... Do it right the rst time and you’ll get a better result.

Since the destillation is so good, we don’t need to lter it. Charcoal lters kills the natural avor of a vodka. Also it doesn’t rid the liquid of the head since it’s generally smaller molecules than the body that consists of mostly ethanol.

Finally, like stated so many times before (if you’ve had the patience to read this bible/coran or whatever you’d like to call it) we don’t want to fool our costumers by adding avorings or other avors like sugar. And, what’s the need if you have a perfect result already?

The liquid is distilled to between 96,3 and 96,5 alcohol by volume. Lower alcohol volumes would render a less smooth experience and a higher one less character. Distilling above these numbers is also really really hard without adding chemicals.

We call our un avored product Blond simply because natural is pretty much the most misused word in the vodka world...
