Has a mild taste and delicate aroma. This is the first vodka patented in Russia by the Russian government. The recipe for this drink was developed in 1894 by the Russian scientist Mendeleev. Under his supervision the “typical” Russian vodka was developed. According to the patent, a vodka can be called “Moskovskaya Special (Osobaya) Vodka" only if this product has as its main ingredient rye alcohol, prepared from rye varieties grown in Russia, with minor (2 - 3 percent) additions of alcohol made from other cereals, and divorced by weight with soft spring water, which has undergone special treatment.Brand Distribution Graph
