For the production of its alcohols, Vivant selects raw materials of certified organic origin, guaranteeing a product free from chemical residues as well as from a preserved nature. If alcohol can be harmful to health, at least the production of it does not harm the Earth. An Earth from which Alive Alcohols derive their character by restoring it intact to future generations.

Cognac Decroix

A farm where cognac is part of a global and autonomous vision. Cereals, lentils, nuts, fruits, truffles and grapes: mixed farming is at the center of the system. Vines cultivated without fertilizers or pesticides, thanks to intermediate crops and constant care given to the life of the soil. The vinification is carried out on indigenous yeasts. The wine is distilled using the Charente method. The eau-de-vie is aged between 8 and 15 years in French oak barrels. The assembly, avoiding any addition of sugar, seeks to highlight the flavors of a "natural" product, made from 100% grapes and expressing the identity of its terroir.

Gin Decroix

At the origin of the project, an extraordinary Pepper from Sichuan ( Zanthoxylum piperitum ) planted on the Decroix farm more than twenty years ago. Its powerful and spontaneous aromatic berries give the base note to our gin. We add coriander, caradamom, ginger, angelica, and of course juniper berries, native to our Montmorélien hillsides.

After 48 hours of maceration in organic wheat alcohol, the vegetable cocktail is distilled in a Stupfler® still, “Rolls-Royce of the stills”. Taste, fineness, sense - an aromatic imprint sufficiently marked not to lose its personality in gin tonic or cocktails.

Gino - Amber Peasant Rum

Extracted by artisanal organic sugar cane from Peru, reduced in a cauldron and naturally crystallized, a complete sugar of exceptional flavor serves as the basis for this rum from pure peasant source. It was distilled in France in a Stupfler® still, which specialists qualify as Rolls Royce stills for the finesse and unique aromatic expression of the distillates obtained. Naturally amber in barrels of acacia, chestnut and cherry, this rum does not contain any of the additives usually used by the spirits industry.

Silène - French Whiskey

This 100% French whiskey was made from organic malted barley grown in Charente and distilled in a traditional Charentais still. From unspoilt nature, it reveals exceptional purity and a rare personality. Its name is that of a butterfly of light woods and bushy hills (Brintesia circe), of a plant of meadows and hedges (Silene vulgaris), but also of the god of drunkenness, adoptive father of Bacchus.
