All of our rums are distilled and bottled in Martinique, directly from the pure sugar cane juice. These are "agricole"
Our white rums are round , of great refinement that agreeably taste fresh cane and fruity flavors. The finish is extremely light, tinged with a subtle scent of zest.
Our old rums are smooth and round, with a beautiful copper robe, aged in oak barrels. The balanced scents are enhanced by beautiful spicy and woody notes. The aromas developed in a beautiful lemony vegetal freshness evoke the nougatine, the fruits cooked with a refined woody.

About this company
"Héritiers Madkaud" rum is an agricultural rum distilled and bottled exclusively in Martinique since 1895 following the requirements defined by Félicien Madkaud, its founder. Spirited distiller ("Lespri Matinik" in Creole language), this son of Martinique slaves born free in 1857 will leave behind an oenological inheritance out of the commun run from generation to generation to his current descendant, Stéphane MADKAUD . Originally produced by the family distilleries from 1895 to 1970, this rum is currently produced on the multibrand site of Sainte - Marie. The rum "Madkaud" benefits from the controlled label of origin "Martinique".
