Caged Heat™cocktail syrup is a multiple award winning craft cocktail syrup produced by NickelDime's partners, Jared Hirsch, an award winning Mixologist, and MBA '18 candidate J. Absinthia Vermut. We are seeking sales support and distribution for our product. In 2014, NickelDime launched a Kickstarter for our first product, Caged Heat™ cocktail syrup. We met our financial goal in 7 days. Since then, Caged Heat has won awards and press including winning the Four Roses National Cocktail Competition at Tales of the Cocktail, 2 Gold Medals and a Consumer Choice award from the SIP awards, a Silver medal from the SF Spirits Competition, a Silver Medal from the Global Spirit Awards, and Entrepreneur of the Year from the Nightclub and Bar Show. Caged Heat was featured in a 2 page spread in the SFChron's Food Section that dramatically increased our exposure and sales, and won an Editor's “Best Way to Spice Up Your Cocktails” award from the East Bay Express. We've found success from both off-premise accounts looking to offer original craft cocktail ingredients to their customers and on-premise accounts who want access to craft cocktails without having to create house made ingredients, or the time it takes to build 5 ingredient cocktails.
