Julu Dry Gin is a masterfully crafted expression of China’s rich botanical heritage. Carefully distilled in small batches, it brings together a harmonious blend of 18 meticioulsly selected botanicals and bold Chinese spices, resulting in a spirit that is both vibrant and complex, but delivering a balanced and clean tasting experience.
Aroma: Bright bursts of zesty citrus and fragrant florals intertwined with warming spices.. Subtle layers of juniper and soft earthiness provide a well-rounded complexity.
Palate: A spiced profile, with a bright opening of lemon peel and floral nuances, followed by a deep, warming core of Sichuan pepper, pink peppercorn, and cumin.
Finish: A long, smooth finish with a lingering peppery warmth, softened by gentle floral notes and a touch of licorice root sweetness.

Julu Gin originated in the garden of a historic Shanghai lane house, where the vision of creating a premium Chinese craft gin first took root. Our mission: to harmoniously blend China\'s extraordinary botanicals with traditional juniper-forward gin craftsmanship. Launched in 2022 on ancestral Chongming Island, the artisanal distillery produces two distinctive expressions: Julu Dry Gin and Julu Silk Road Gin. Each small batch is carefully crafted in a custom copper still, uniting dark spices, vibrant citrus, and delicate florals to create a uniquely Chinese gin. Our recipes honor China\'s rich heritage of botanical wisdom, drawing inspiration from centuries of culinary and aromatic traditions. This cultural authenticity extends to our brand identity, which showcases the vibrant artistry of Jinshan folk art. Both expressions have earned international recognition, garnering awards from prestigious competitions including IWSC, LSC, SFWSC, and HKIWSC.
