Fairy Trees Winery is proud to introduce what we believe to be Ireland’s first Irish Grape Brandy.
Distilled from wine in our 600-litre copper still, our brandy is crafted using the traditional Charentaise double distillation method. The wine is first distilled to create the brouillis at around 32% alc., before a second distillation produces the eau-de-vie at around 78% alc.
The spirit is then aged for a minimum of 18 months in traditional French oak barrels, before being finished for six months in Grand Cru casks. Once ready, it is carefully blended and reduced to 40% alc. with reverse-osmosis water, giving the brandy a smooth, fine and silky finish.

Our brand name – Fairy Trees – is something which represents Irish history and also represents the long heritage of the Laclie family tree. The tale of the ‘Fairy Trees’ in Ireland is as old as time, and the Laclie family history reaches back to the 1700s – merging the history and magic of Ireland’s mythical tales with the French/ Irish heritage of the family is something which was important to us. Our wine is made by hand, through a labour of love, patience, and many, many years of expertise.
